Movers and shakers, welcome.
My name is Neil Singh Bedi – ‘Neil Singh’ professionally, or just ‘NSB’ – and I’m a California native currently in Boston as a medical student, researcher, and public health advocate. My parents, Alka and Robby Bedi, both moved to California from Punjab, and I was born and raised in the Bay Area.
I was raised a Punjabi Sikh, and core values of our culture are those of community, social justice, and equity. Given my privilege and the opportunity to bring some positive change to the world, the goal is to do just that.
Thanks to many amazing mentors, the support of my family and the blessings of my ancestors, we’ve begun making progress towards that goal, but there is much more for me to learn, and much more good that must be done.
My research and advocacy endeavors lie at the intersection of public health and clinical care – with a vision to improve health systems to be more sustainable, effective, and equitable.
In the end, by treating symptoms at the bedside and healing systems at scale, I am confident that we will come remarkably close to a world where all people can truly, be well.
Thanks for joining me on this journey,
Onward and upward,
NSB
